Natalie Kramer
Natalie (from Fayetteville, AR) enrolled in the Online Apprenticeship Program, is always at the top of her class, has never missed an assignment, and is very enthusiastic about her program. Here are a few of her comments:

I was accepted into the University of Arkansas apprenticeship program at Facilities Management in Fayetteville in 2005. Since HVACR is a somewhat dynamic filed, I was excited to begin my apprenticeship. I soon realized how diverse, but rewarding this trade could be. I look forward to it testing my abilities and technical skills. A huge portion of the technical knowledge I have obtained has come from my participation in and taking advantage of the on line courses through HVACR education .net. Valuable information received from the instructors and the course work allowed me to gain confidence as I applied this learned knowledge to many job situations. With the on the job training and exposure to chillers, steam, controls, hydronics and refrigeration here at the U of A, I look forward to the many challenges ahead. One of my desires is to choose an area within the U of A where my talents would be the best fit. While at times the HVACR field seems overwhelming, I know as I become more knowledgeable with the help of HVACReducation.net courses, I will serve my employer and community in much greater capacity.

I was born in Detroit Michigan, but attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with a BSBA degree majoring in finance in 1991. As an alumnus, I am a very strong and avid Razorback fan. I came from a family with very strong business backgrounds. My mother is now deceased and my Dad now resides in Florida. I do volunteer work at a residential facility for disabled adults. I have participated in their annual fundraiser for over fifteen years. I love living in Arkansas. I enjoy the outdoors. I like fishing, hunting and also camping out. I enjoy watching cooking shows on TV and grilling at home. Although my major was in business, I always liked the idea of fixing things. I felt that by doing things to help others would give me a sense of accomplishment. Being in a skilled trade gave me this opportunity. I also like working in an area that has something to do with saving energy. HVAC is a place I knew I could do this. Some of my ambitions are to installed energy savings equipment at home. One source I have a strong interest in is the possibility of wind energy. Also, I am interested in solar energy. I believe the future is much dependent on how we mange energy in the present. I look forward to doing what I can in my profession and whatever I can do to improve the world we live in. I know I’m certainly going to try to do my part.
