for CARE Members—FREE

Care Members have an opportunity to enroll in the best HVACR and GREEN online courses recognized by both North American Technician Excellence (NATE) and the Building Performance Institute (BPI) for FREE. The catalog of courses is extensive and the continuing education hours may apply toward state teaching certification renewal. CAREIf you’re an HVACR educator, CARE is the professional association for you. The Council of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Educators is the only organization dedicated to HVACR instruction with the full support of the industry. The CARE organization is made of HVACR instructors, administrators and other HVACR industry personnel from across the United States. HVACReducation.net and CARE have joined together to support the Teaching profession in the HVACR and Green Home Performance industries by offering free courses to educators. We can’t think of anything more important than lifting up the educators who teach the future technicians and leaders. The industry is changing with measures of excellence and industry certifications becoming the norm and lifelong learning is expected. We’re here to help.

There must be a catch! No catches, just a few pre-qualifications:

  1. Must be a CARE member
  2. Must be an HVACR educator employed by a
    • Public or Private Secondary School
    • Post Secondary Institution
    • Industry Association
    • Proprietary School
    • Corporation
  3. Enroll in only one course at a time and successfully complete it within the 60 day enrollment
    (a few courses are 90 days)
    • Passing score is 75%
  4. Because you are a teacher, free enrollment does not cover the cost of an online mentor. But, you may request the guidance of a subject matter expert and pay only $35-$45 per course.
  5. Free enrollment does not include the textbooks (not all courses require textbooks), but you may already have them on your bookshelf.

The courses must be easy . . . No, they’re very technical challenging courses. All the courses are asynchronous online anytime/anywhere that you can connect to on the Internet from any computer. If you’re ready, look for the link on the CARE website, the ACHR NEWS Learning Center or HVACReducation.net and fill out the online form for your registration.

Tell your colleagues, and industry associates. In addition to providing this service to CARE members we offer a large selection of assessments, reviews, courses, and entire programs.
